The “North-East System for Internationalization” Project was founded in September 2019, by the will of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and the Veneto Region to implement common actions to support the internationalization of local enterprises.
The agreement that gave rise to the Project was signed at Finest S.p.a.’s headquarters, the North-Eastern internationalization financial firm, by Sergio Emidio Bini – Regional Councillor for the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region Production and Tourism Activities – and Federico Caner – EU Funds, Tourism, Agriculture, International Trade Commissioner for the Veneto Region. On 16 September 2022, when Achille Spinelli – Economic Development, Research and Labour Commissioner – signing the Addendum to the Agreement, the Trento Autonomous Province formally joined the partnership.
Then, Unioncamere Veneto, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Italy, and the Croatian Chamber of Handicrafts – Istrian Region Craftsmanship Chamber – joined the Project.
Finest S.p.A. was appointed as the Project’s executing body, based on the North-Eastern finance firm’s 30-year experience in corporate internationalization, while the Sportello per l’internazionalizzazione Sprint FVG, Venicepromex and the Chamber of Commerce of Venice, Rovigo and Belluno have operative and administrative roles, to further strengthen this important intra-regional and international work group born with the Project.
